Anne is a life-long resident of Central Virginia, having grown up in Madison County, Virginia. She attended and graduated from the University of Virginia before going to law school at the University of Richmond. After law school, Anne clerked for the Honorable J. Gregory Ashwell, a Judge in the Fauquier County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. Following her clerkship, Anne returned to Charlottesville to pursue a career in private practice. Throughout her legal career, Anne has focused on family and criminal law. She handles custody and visitation matters, child and spousal support, divorce and equitable distribution, adoption, education hearings, and general civil litigation. She also handles criminal matters ranging from traffic tickets to major felonies.
Anne continues to remain involved in her hometown where she is a medic with the Madison County Rescue Squad. She also is on the executive board with Madison County Rescue Squad as legal counsel.
